What an apartment move takes

- Stairs and upper-floor walk-ups Third-floor walk-up with a turn at every landing? That is a normal day for us. We plan the carry and handle the stairwell carefully as appropriate so the path stays controlled on the way down.
- Elevators and high-rise buildings We work around a shared or reserved elevator and stage the move so your things are not sitting in a hallway. You book the freight elevator or move window with your building; tell us the reserved times and we will plan around them.
- Building rules & COIs Some communities require a reserved elevator or a certificate of insurance (COI) on move day. Titan provides a COI on request — a COI is not insurance coverage for your belongings. You arrange the elevator, dock, or move window; with notice, we arrive prepared.
- Right-sized crews for smaller moves A studio does not need a five-person crew. We size the team to the move so it is quick and you are not paying for more help than the job takes.
- Tight turns and shared spaces Narrow doorways, tight stairwells, and shared hallways get careful handling as appropriate — furniture padded, and common areas treated with care along the route.
- Parking and truck access Where there is no dock and only street parking, we stage the truck legally as close as we can and keep the carry efficient so the move stays quick.

How much does it cost to move an apartment?
Apartment moves are usually smaller and billed hourly based on crew size and time, with a 3-hour minimum. After the first 3 hours, billing continues in 15-minute increments. The floor, the elevator or stairs, and the carry distance all factor in. Long-distance moves are quoted separately. Tell us a little about your place and you get a clear estimate up front.
Do you charge extra for stairs?
There is no gimmick stair fee. Stairs simply take more time, and since local moves are billed by the hour, a walk-up may take a little longer than a ground-floor unit. We tell you what to expect when we quote it.
My building requires a certificate of insurance — can you handle that?
Yes — Titan provides a COI on request for buildings or HOAs that ask for one. A COI is not the same as insurance coverage for your belongings; it documents our liability insurance for the property manager. You arrange the freight elevator, dock, or move-in window; with notice, we arrive prepared.

You (or your building/HOA contact) book the freight elevator, dock, and move window. Tell Titan the reserved times ahead of move day so the crew arrives prepared.
