Once we learn a few details about your home, we give you a clear estimate up front — no hidden fees and no surprises on moving day.

Two to three weeks is ideal, especially for weekends and the busy end-of-month stretch. We also take short-notice moves whenever the schedule allows, so it is always worth calling to check.

Yes. Our crews arrive with dollies, straps, moving blankets, and protective wrapping. We pad and protect your furniture before it leaves the house — moving pads and mover bands, plus stretch wrap on select upholstered pieces — and handle it carefully to avoid scuffs and damage on both ends of the move.

We do. Beds, tables and other large furniture are disassembled when needed before loading and reassembled in your new home, so you are not left with tools in hand at the end of the day.

Absolutely. We move houses, apartments and condos throughout the Memphis area, and stairs or elevator buildings are all part of a normal day for our crews.

That works too. We offer labor-only help for loading or unloading a rental truck, moving container or storage unit — just let us know what you need when you request your quote.

Often, yes. Many dressers can be moved with lightweight clothing left in the drawers, which saves you packing time. We band the drawers shut so nothing slides open in transit. Heavy or fragile drawer contents are better emptied, and we will let you know at your estimate if any piece should be.

Not always. Light clothing can usually stay put, but it is best to remove heavy items, breakables, valuables, and important documents. When in doubt, we will advise you during your estimate.

You have a few options. The fastest budget-friendly method is the garbage bag trick: leave the clothes on their hangers, pull a large garbage bag up over them from the bottom, and tie it around the hangers. It works well for short local moves, but bags can tear and don't offer much protection. The best option is a wardrobe box — your clothes stay hanging the whole time, stay cleaner, and go straight into the new closet. And if you'd rather, you're welcome to take hanging clothes in your own vehicle; we'll gladly help load them into your car before we leave.

The clock starts when the crew arrives at your street — or at the gate if you live in a gated community — except when travel from Titan’s shop to your origin exceeds 45 minutes, in which case billing begins after the first 45 minutes of that drive. The clock stops after the final piece is placed at the destination, or when you confirm you no longer need anything else from the crew.

For jobs within the first 45 minutes of travel from Titan’s shop, that inbound drive is not billed — billing begins when the crew arrives at your street, or at the gate for a gated property. If the drive from our shop to your origin takes longer than 45 minutes, billing begins after the first 45 minutes. For example, a 60-minute drive means the final 15 minutes of inbound travel are billable. Travel between the origin and destination during the move is on the clock. Time still rounds up to the nearest 15-minute increment.

Under normal local hourly pricing there is no automatic surcharge for stairs, long carries, elevators, weekends, or specialty items — those factors may simply add time. The usual exceptions are the service fee per truck and a card processing fee when you pay by card.

When it is appropriate for the job, crews can handle standard washer and electric dryer disconnect and reconnect — just let us know ahead of time so we can plan for it and make sure the hoses and cords are handled. We do not disconnect or reconnect gas lines. One thing that catches people off guard: the new home may use a different dryer outlet than the old one. Older homes often have 3-prong outlets, while newer homes usually use 4-prong, so the existing cord may not match. It's worth checking both outlets before moving day — an inexpensive replacement dryer cord is a quick pickup at Lowe's or Home Depot, and knowing in advance saves a mid-move trip to the hardware store.

Yes. We move refrigerators and other large appliances, padded and secured on a dolly. We recommend emptying and defrosting the fridge at least 24 hours ahead so it is ready to go on moving day. Many refrigerators also need some disassembly to clear doorways — often the appliance's own doors or handles, sometimes a door in your home, and occasionally a combination of all three. That is completely normal — our crew will evaluate the safest approach once we arrive rather than removing parts that aren't necessary, and handle it as part of the move.

Yes — on request we remove your TV from the wall, take down the wall bracket if you'd like, and pack and protect everything for the move. We do not remount TVs or drill new holes at the new home; wall mounting is best handled by a TV installation company or handyman, so it is worth lining that up separately.

Most metal filing cabinets can often be moved with the files still inside, depending on their size, condition, and weight. Large or overloaded cabinets may need to be emptied for safety. We'll evaluate yours before moving and let you know.

It depends on the size of your home and the access at both ends. As a rough guide, a small apartment often takes a few hours, while a larger home can take most of a day. We give you a realistic time estimate with your quote.

Light rain rarely stops a move — crews work carefully and protect items as conditions allow. Severe weather can slow the day or, in rare cases, require a reschedule for safety. Your coordinator will communicate if conditions change the plan.

Tips are never required. If you choose to tip, customers commonly tip based on the length or difficulty of the move or divide a crew tip among the movers.

An authorized person should be available to meet the crew, answer questions, and direct placement. You do not have to personally stand in every room the whole day, but someone with decision authority needs to be reachable on site.

We move completely empty gun safes up to 800 lb. No firearms or ammunition are transported. We may unbolt a safe when needed, but we do not re-anchor it at the destination. Tell us the make, the rough weight, and what the access looks like on both ends so we come prepared.

Yes, we can move most household plants on local moves. Keep in mind that plants are living items and are not covered by our valuation protection, so they travel at your own risk — pots can break, soil can spill, and water or dirt may damage nearby furniture if a container tips in transit. Whenever possible, we recommend transporting valuable or sentimental plants in your own vehicle. If we do move them, we'll handle them carefully and place them where they're least likely to shift during the move.

For safety and legal reasons, movers generally cannot transport hazardous materials like propane tanks, gasoline, chemicals, ammunition, or other flammables. Plants, perishable food, and irreplaceable valuables such as documents, jewelry, and cash are best moved yourself. We are glad to point out anything to set aside during your estimate.
