The gear is a mix of dead-weight steel and sensitive electronics: a power rack that bolts together, a cable machine with a 200-pound weight stack, a Smith machine, a treadmill with a heavy motor. Muscling it out in one piece is how floors get gouged, machines get bent, and someone gets hurt.
The real skill is knowing how each piece comes apart and goes back together when the job needs it. Power racks can break down into uprights and crossmembers; functional trainers and cable machines may have their weight stacks pulled and their pulleys handled so nothing binds; Smith and selectorized machines are partly disassembled when needed; treadmills and ellipticals are folded or broken down for the stairs and their electronics protected. We take only as much apart as the move needs, pad and protect the pieces, handle flooring carefully as appropriate on both ends — heavy equipment concentrates a lot of weight on a small footprint — and reassemble it at the new place. Home gym or commercial studio, it is the same approach: plan the path, take it apart when needed, and set it back in place. We do not provide manufacturer service, calibration, or hardwired electrical work, and we do not promise the equipment will be ready to use the moment we leave.

The gym equipment we move — and how
Every machine comes apart differently. Knowing how is the whole job.
- Power racks & squat racks Bolt-together steel that is heavy and wider than most doorways. When needed, we break it down to uprights and crossmembers, keep the hardware together, and reassemble it square at the new spot.
- Cable machines & functional trainers When the job needs it, the weight stack — often 200 pounds or more — comes out and moves separately, and the cables and pulleys are handled so nothing kinks or binds. We place the machine; we do not calibrate or service it.
- Smith machines & weight machines Guided-bar and selectorized machines are heavy, top-heavy, and awkward. We partly disassemble them when needed, secure the bar and stack, and move the frame controlled rather than wrestled.
- Treadmills, ellipticals & cardio Heavy motors and sensitive electronics, unplugged and handled with care. Treadmills are folded or broken down when needed and ellipticals partly disassembled so they clear the stairs and doorways. We do not do hardwired electrical work.
- Basements, upstairs, and tight doorways Most home gyms live down a basement or up over the garage. Taking equipment down to its pieces when needed is exactly what makes those stairs and narrow doors possible — we plan the path before anything moves.
- Home gyms and commercial gyms From a single rack in a spare room to a studio or facility, we scale the crew to the job and handle flooring carefully as appropriate on both ends, since loaded equipment puts a lot of weight on a small footprint. Commercial and studio moves can be coordinated around your schedule when practical.

Absolutely — that is where most home gyms are. Taking the equipment down to its pieces when needed is what makes a basement or an upstairs bonus room manageable, and we plan the stair path and handle surfaces carefully as appropriate before anything moves.
Do you move commercial gyms and studios?
Yes. From a boutique studio to a full facility, we scale the crew, plan disassembly when needed, and handle flooring carefully as appropriate. When practical, we can coordinate around your hours to keep downtime down — we do not promise overnight or after-hours work on every job.
How should I prepare my equipment before the move?
A few things help: strip the weight plates and dumbbells and set them aside so machines and bars are not moved loaded, unplug treadmills and cardio ahead of time, and clear the path from the equipment to the door. If you have the original hardware or manuals, set them out — otherwise we keep the bolts we remove together with each piece.
Can you move treadmills and cardio without damaging them?
We unplug cardio equipment, fold or partly disassemble it when needed for the stairs, and pad and secure it for transit rather than dragging or tipping it. Titan Elite is licensed and insured. We do not do hardwired electrical work, manufacturer service, or calibration, and we do not promise the machine will be ready to use the moment we leave.
