That is how we approach it. We work patiently and coordinate with whoever is helping — the family, the community, the schedule. We can pack as much or as little as you want, help sort what is making the move from what is being donated or passed on to family, and place furniture where you direct so rooms are usable. Unpacking, when you want it, is customer-directed help — not a full household organization. When the destination is a retirement or assisted-living community, Titan provides a certificate of insurance (COI) on request; you arrange the building or community move-in window. And we will always suggest keeping an essentials box close: medications, daily necessities, important documents, and a few comforts that ride with you, not on the truck.

- Downsizing, at your pace Moving from a house to a smaller home or a community means deciding what comes along. We work patiently and help move what is staying. Extra stops — donation, family, or storage — are billable; the clock continues. We are not a junk-removal company and do not offer a free donation haul.
- Coordinating with the family Often an adult child is helping plan, sometimes from another city. We keep one clear point of contact and coordinate with whoever is involved, so nobody is left guessing and the details do not fall on one person. An authorized person may meet the crew and direct placement; that does not grant them the right to sign the contract, valuation, or waivers.
- Retirement & assisted-living communities We move into independent-living, retirement, and assisted-living communities regularly, and we know they run on schedules — a move-in window, a shared elevator, a front desk to check in with. You arrange that window; we plan the crew around the time you book.
- Placed where you direct Tell us how the new home should be laid out and we place the furniture and boxes to match, so rooms are usable instead of a maze of boxes. Directed placement is not a promise that the home feels fully settled the first evening.
- Elevator scheduling & building COIs Many communities require a reserved freight elevator or a certificate of insurance on move day. Titan provides a COI on request — a COI is not insurance coverage for your belongings. You arrange the building or community window; with notice, we arrive prepared.
- The essentials box We always suggest packing a box of the things that should stay within reach — medications, glasses, chargers, important documents, and a few daily comforts — and keeping it with you rather than on the truck, so nothing important is ever out of reach on moving day.
